When we shine a torch light on a plane mirror it is reflected on the wall behind as a real image, but all other sources of light (i.e. objects) form virtual images behind the mirror. Why is this so?

When we shine a torch light on a plane mirror, it produces parallel beam of light which after reflection from the mirror hits on the wall, so you see the illuminated space there. it is not real image. you can see the virtual image of the torch light in the mirror also. can't you?
