Nucleotide is the monomer unit of DNA, consisting of a purine or pyrimidine base, a sugar molecule (ribose or deoxyribose), and phosphate group(s).
Nucleobase is the base of a nucleic acid, such as thymine, uracil, adenine, cytosine and guanine.
