What are Axioms and Postulates? What's the difference? Please Answer.

The famous mathematician Euclid assumed certain properties, which were not to
be proved. These assumptions are obvious universal truths. He divided them
into two types: axioms and postulates. The term ‘postulate’ was used for the assumptions
that were specific to geometry. The term axioms were the assumptions used throughout mathematics and not specifically linked to geometry.
