Two SHMs are represented by the equations: y1= 0.1 sin(100 pi t+ pi/3) and y2=0.1 cos pi t. What is the phase difference of the velocity of the particle 1 w.r.t the velocity of particle 2?

velocity of particle 1
V1 = d(y1)/dt = 10 pi cos(100 pi t+ pi/3)
and of particle 2 is
V2 = d(y2)/dt = - 0.1 pi sin pi t = 0.1 pi sin(- pi t)=  0.1 cos(pi t +pi/2)
thus phase difference = pi/2 - pi/3 = pi/6
