Heat produced, H = I2 Rt,
where I = current, R = resistance, t = time

H is proportional to R;

The ratio of values of resistances in series and parallel connection is 2 : (1/2) = 4 : 1

So, the ratio of heat produced in series and paralle combination = 4 : 1
