the partial pressure of ethane over a saturated solution containing 0.0656g of ethane is 1bar. if the solution contains 0.05g of ethane , then what will be its partial pressure ?

From  pV = w /M RT
p is directly proportional to w
so, p1 /p2 = w1 /w2
1/p2 = .0656 / .05
or p2 = .05/.0656
p2 = 0.762 bar
