Sir, I want to know whether there is any special manner to memorise the modern periodic table... If so please mention the method... If there is no such method then please tell me what shall i do when i don't know the atomic numbers of elements in the exam for finding the atomic number???

There is no easy way to remember  full periodic table .But yes i can tell you a way by which you can remember few of the groups of the table to an extent.

for alkaline metals and earth alkaline metals:

To learn periodic table make some sort of rthyming with the names of the elements.In your syllabus you do not need to learn full periodic table still..

The best way to memorise their atomic number is make a periodic table and revise it daily just give a  glance daily nd write it down without seeing it ...if you get stucked somewhere again revise the table once and write it down.
