I t - 2 I this means velocity is -(t-2) for t less than 2 seconds and (t-2) for t greater than 2 seconds.
Also the velocity is zero for t = 2s.
v(t) = -(t-2) for t<2
= 0 t=0
= (t-2) for t>2
Distance is total area under velocity vs time graph,
= Area of the two triangles on the graph (shaded are)
= 4 m
