In our ncert text book, it is written that two simple harmonic motions may have same angular frequency and phase but different amplitudes. similarly, it is said that two simple harmonic motions may have same amplitude and angular frequency but different phase . also,it is said that two simple harmonic motions may have the same amplitude and phase,but different angular frequency. could you please explain what is meant by having same phase and having different phase?

Having same phase refers to the fact that the phase difference between the two waves is always constant or there is no phase difference at all.
