If 3a-5b=5 and a/a+b=5/7 then what is value of a-b ???

3a - 5b = 5      (1)
a/a+b = 5/7
7a = 5a + 5b
5b - 2a = 0       (2)
 
Adding (1) and (2), we get,
a = 5
 
From (2), we get b = 2
 
Hence, a - b = 5 - 2 = 3
