What does it consist of?
What compound does it take to block signals in neurons?
They block electronic signals so are they some kind of insulator?

Those compounds which when abnormally concentrated can prove neurologically toxicand  can adversely affect function in both developing and mature nervous tissue.they can be both organic as well as inorganic compounds for example: Glutamate is an organic compound and  nitric oxide(NO) is an inorganic compound.
