Dear sir, Conventionaly, electric current flows from live wire to neutral wire and so it is advised not to touch live wire which may cause fatal shock. But practically, current flows from neutral wire to live wire. Then why is it(neutal wire) considered less dangerous than live wire? The neutral wire in your circuit is the return for the live feed from your circuit and is bonded at the main panel to the grounding conductor so that any stray currents caused by equipment faults will go back to the utility transformer
