Numerical aperture is a dimensionless number that gives the range of angles over which the microscope or telescope can accept light.
A microscope is used to view microscopic objects. Whereas, a telescope is used to capture distant objects. Thus, the numerical aperture of objective of microscope is less and that of telescope is more.
The numerical aperture of eyepiece is same for both the devices. Thus, the order of numerical aperture is reversed in both the devices.
