Will you please explain what is meant by "the diameter of the reflecting surface that is twice the radius is called its aperture".

An aperture is an opening through which light enters the optical instrument.
Aperture determines the amount of light intercepted by the mirror.
The aperture of a spherical mirror is its diameter.
The diameter of spherical mirror is twice the radius of curvature of sherical mirror.
