Actually base region is very thin so when the electrons pass  from the emitter to base , maximum of these electrons pass to collector vey less electrons go towards base terminal. In the process electrons starts accumlating in base and start repelling the electrons that are coming from the emitter. If we increase base current the ccumalation of electrons in base will reduce and the awy for collector current will be cleared.
