What is the distance of the point (a, b, c) from y-axis?

The given point is (a, b, c).

The distance of the point (a, b, c) from y-axis will be the perpendicular distance from point (a, b, c) to y-axis whose co-ordinates will be (0, b, 0)

? By distance formula, we have:

Distance = sqrt (a^2 + c^2)
