Radiation is energy that comes from a source and travels through space and may be able to penetrate various materials. In the Electro Magnetic Spectrum, radiations are classified into non-ionizing and ionizing rays.

When radiation passes through the body, it breaks up some of the molecules in the cells. Ionizing rays are very harmful because exposure to those causes D.N.A to mutate or change form, this can lead to all types of cancers, affecting thyroid bladder, colon, liver, lungs, oesophagus, ovaries and stomach.
