the percentage of 3 elements calcium, carbon& oxygen in a sample of calcium carbonate are given as: calcium =40% carbon=12% oxygen=48% If the law of constant proportions is true, what weight of these elements will present in 1.5 g of another sample of calcium carbonate?

Calcium = 40%

= 40 / 100  x 1.5

= 0.6 g

Carbon = 12%

= 12 / 100  x 1.5

= 0.18 g

Oxygen = 48 %

= 48 / 100 x 1.5

= 0.72 g

When you add all these,

0.6g + 0.18g + 0.72g = 1.5g
