Sulphur tetrafluoride is easily hydrolysed whereas sulphur hexafluoride is not.Explain.

SF6 does not undergo hydrolysis because of the sterically hindered sulphur atom. In contrast less sterically hindered SF4 undergoes hydrolysis readily.
