sir, which side we should shsde if we have x > or equal to y?

First draw the graph of the line x = y. It will pass through the points (0, 0), (1, 1), (2, 2) etc.
 
Now, consider a point not lying on this line, say (2, 1). Clearly, 2 > 1 so it satisfies the inequality x greater than equal to y. So, shade the region lying below the line x = y ( containg the point (2,1) and including the line also).
