Sir,can u tell what a locus really is..?I am confused about this.

Locus (Latin for "place", plural loci) is a collection of points which share a property.
For example a circle may be defined as the locus of points in a plane at a fixed distance from a given point.It is the collection of all the points which are equidistant from the centre of a circle.All these points combine to form a circle (curve)
