RESISTORS ARE ARRANGED IN 20 COLUMNS AND 10 ROWS OF 2 OHM EACH. DRAW THE CYCLE AND FIND EQUVIVALENT RESISTANCE.

When you connect the Resistance in a column wise then all the resistance will be in series and therefore the equivalent resitance arranged in column will be
 
R=r+r+r+................=40
 
When you arrange the resistance in row, then all the resistance are in parallel, therefore the required equivalent resistance will be
