PLEASE CLARIFY F'(X) changes sign from negative to positive (or vice versa ??) then is is local maximum..[refer to 07:17 of part 3 math Video Lesson: Maxima - Minima-I Derivative Test.

Dear Student

If  F'(x)  changes from positive to negative as passes through  then it is the point of local maxima.

If F'(x) changes sign from negative to positive then the extreme point  is a point of local minima.
