In ?ABC, points D, E and F are mid points of sides BC, CA and AB respectively. K is the centroid of ?EDC. A ? (8, 4), D ? (2, 4) and K ? (4, 6). Find the coordinates of point F.

The coordinates of A, D, K are given as (8, 4), (2, 4) and (4, 6) respectively.
 
Let the coordinates of the points E, C, and B be (a, b), (x, y) and (p, q) respectively.
 
Now, E is the mid-point of AC, therefore by mid-point formula, we have
Now, K is the centroid of the triangle EDC. Therefore, we have
Now, D is the mid point of BC. By applying mid-point formula, we get
