If f is the identity function and g is the modulus function, then find(f+g)(x)

For x greater than equal to 0,
g(x) = |x| = x
(f + g) (x ) = f(x) + g(x) = x + x = 2x
 
For x < 0,
g(x) = |x| = -x
(f + g) (x ) = f(x) + g(x) = x - x = 0
 
Hence, the answer.
