if 2 is a zero of both the polynomials 3x^2+ax-14 and 2x^3+bx^2+x-2,then how to find out the value of 2-2b?

2 is a zero of the polynomial 3x2+ax-14.
Therefore, 3(2)2+a(2)-14 = 0
From the above equation find the value of a.
 
2 is also a zero of the polynomial 2x3+bx2+x-2.
Therefore, 2(2)3+b(2)2+(2)-2 = 0
From the above equation find the value of b.
 
You will get both a and b, then you can easily find the value of the given expression which is asked to find.
