By the postulates of Rutherford model, the negatively charged electrons revolve around the positively charged nuclei in well defined circular paths
By classical physics we know that any partical in circular orbits would undergo acceleration  and during this they radiate energy so electron is continuously losing its energy, also during its revolution it is continuously attracted by the nucleus.
so as a consequence of this the electron should ultimately fall inside the nucleus.
so by this model atom should not have been stable and matter would not exist in stable form  ,but we know atoms are stable.
so, this model could not explain stability of atom.
