1) temperature of water remains constant during boiling because energy provided by heat is used up in changing of liquid state to vapour state.
2) spaces between gas particles is maximum because intermolecular forces of attraction is very less,so particles remains at a distance from each other.
3) rate of diffusion of liquids is higher then of solids because the less closely packed as compared to solid, because intermolecular spaces is less in case of solids .Hence they are not able to diffuse so easily and intermolecular spaces in liquids is more in liquids so are able to diffuse much easily.
4) sensible heat is the amount of energy that is said to be hidden heat ,it is the amount of heat used up during a change of state for ex: during melting of ice.
