A regular year means 365 days = 52 weeks + 1 extra day

A leap year means 366 days = 52 weeks + 2 extra days

So, Friday can fall for any one of the 2 extra day and hence total number

of fridays will become 53.

Probability of friday on 2 days = 2/total number of days in  a week

= 2/7

Hence the probability of getting 53 Fridays is 2/7 for a leap year.
