DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEALTHY AND DISEASE FREE.
Disease-free state implies freedom from disease. However, a healthy state is the state of complete well being (i.e. a state of physical, mental, emotional and social well-being) and not merely freedom from disease.
For example - ?We talk of disease when we can find?? ?a specific and particular cause for discomfort? ?s?u?c?h ????????????????as a person suffering from diarrhoea. ??
But a disease-free person does not mean that a person is healthy. So a person may not be suffering from a disease, but he may be obese or someone who smokes or drinks above acceptable levels or? living everyday in fear due to constant riots in his surroundings. So a person can be in poor health without there being a simple cause in the form of an identifiable disease.
