The phenomenon of electromagnetic induction is the production of induced current in a coil placed in a region where magnetic field changes with time.
The magnetic field may change due to relative motion between the coil and a magnet placed near the coil.

An overload occurs when too many electrical appliances are plugged into a single circuit. And more current starts flowing through the wires.

When the cables of the electrical appliances are worn out or it's not connected properly,a short circuit may occur.A short circuit has a very low resistance that almost all electric current flow through the circuit abruptly.
