can (x-2) be the remainder on division of a polynomial p(x) by (2x+3)? justify your answer

No, it is not possible as degree of r(x) is never equal to degree of g(x).

Here, r(x) = x-2 and g(x) = 2x+3

The power of remainder is always less than that of the divisor. if it is not, then that means remainder can be further divided.
