can A union B also called as SET A+ SET B???

No, because union means all non-common and common elements whereas addition means common elements will be counted twice.
 
eg. A={1,2,3,4,5} and B={3,4,5,6,7}
A union B = {1,2,3,4,5,6,7}
A+B = {1,2,3,4,5,3,4,5,6,7}
