A man jogs from one end A to the other end B of a straight line 300m road in 2min 30 sec and then turns around and jogs 100m back to point C in another one minute. What are his avg speed and velocity in jogging from A to B and from A to C

Average speed from A to B is : total distance travelled/total time taken : 300/150 = 2 m/s Avrage velocoty will be same as displacement is equal in both cases. now average speed between A and C : 400/410 = 40/41 m/s average velocity will be different: (300-100)/410 = 20/41 m/s
