1.Why the vectors are not affected by the disease/causative agents they carry? 2.Can chemotherapeutic agents & semi-antibiotics treat viral diseases?

Vector-borne pathogens are particularly sensitive to climatic conditions due to their influence on vector survival and reproduction, biting and feeding patterns, pathogen incubation and replication, and the efficiency of pathogen transmission among multiple hosts.
 
If we use any chemical agent or any antibiotic against viruses then we will destroy our own cells as viruses use the metabolic machinery of the host cells.
