CBSE 10th Result 2017 Declared: How to check your score and calculate your CGPA

The CBSE announced the class X results of Allahabad, Chennai, Delhi, Dehradun and Trivandrum regions on 03 June 2017. About 16,67,573 students from more than 16,000 CBSE affiliated schools have appeared for their class X board examinations for 2017.

Students can check their results on the official website of the board, cbseresults.nic.in. Candidates have to keep their roll numbers, date of birth, and school numbers handy to download their results. 

> Log on to official websites - cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in

> Click on CBSE Class 10th Result 2017

> Enter your roll and school number.

> Take a print out for future reference.

Students who don’t have internet connectivity can receive their results via SMS with the help of the following steps:

Type CBSE 10 [roll no] and send it to their respective service providers:

52001 (MTNL), 57766 (BSNL), 5800002 (Aircel), 55456068 (Idea), 54321, 51234 and 5333300 (Tata Teleservices), 54321202 (Airtel), and 9212357123 (National Informatics Centre).

Post-CBSE results counselling is available from 28 May to 11 June every day from 8 am to 10 pm on all days.

Calculating your CGPA and overall percentage

CGPA: 1. Find the sum of your grade points. 2. Divide it by the number of subjects (depending on whether you are calculating for best of four or five).

Overall percentage: Take the CGPA and multiply it by 9.5.
